Downtown Austin I've had pit bulls my whole life, so when I saw this one flopped out on the pavement like he owned the block, I had to stop. His people are just standing there, used to it. Meanwhile there's a rat rod parked right behind them like it's a normal Tuesday in Austin — because it is. The dog had no idea he was out here being an ambassador of the breed, but that's kind of how it works with pits. They just exist, and that's enough.
